Weekly Market Update for Manhattan and Brooklyn April 14-20, 2025

MANHATTAN

 

In Manhattan, 365 new listings entered the market last week, down 26% from the previous week.

248 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, down 17% from the previous week.

38 Manhattan contracts were signed at $4M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 22-9, with two condops and five townhouses in the mix.

Noteworthy new contracts last week were: 

1.) 140 JANE STREET, 2N asking $19,950,000.

2.) The townhouse at 280 WEST 11TH STREET asking $13,999,000.

3.) 128 WOOSTER STREET asking $13,000,000.

 

BROOKLYN

 

In Brooklyn, 162 new listings entered the market last week, down 25% from last week.

Meanwhile, 130 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, down 11% from the previous week.

Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:

1.) The townhouse at 545 3RD STREET in Park Slope asking $6,250,000.

2.) The townhouse at 322 CARROLL STREET in Carroll Gardens, asking $5,795,000.

3.) 9 GARDEN PLACE, 2 in Brooklyn Heights asking $5,600,000.
