Weekly Market Update for Manhattan and Brooklyn April 7-13, 2025

MANHATTAN

 

In Manhattan, 493 new listings entered the market last week, down 6.8% from the previous week.

233 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, down 17% from the previous week.

26 Manhattan contracts were signed at $4M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 19-3, with four townhouses in the mix.

Noteworthy new contracts last week were: 

1.) 400 WEST 12TH STREET, 15CD asking $19,850,000.

2.) 111 WEST 57TH STREET, 35 asking $17,250,000.

3.) 244 WEST 12TH STREET asking $13,000,000.

 

BROOKLYN

 

In Brooklyn, 218 new listings entered the market last week, up 25% from last week.

Meanwhile, 147 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, up 15% from the previous week.

Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:

1.) 118 REMSEN STREET, 1 in Brooklyn Heights asking $7,250,000.

2.) The townhouse at 241 UNION STREET in Carroll Gardens, asking $4,999,000.

3.) 554 4TH STREET in Park Slope asking $4,500,000.
