196 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, up 8.3% from the previous week.
16 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 10-5, with one townhouse in the mix.
Noteworthy new contracts last week were:
1.) 1295 MADISON AVENUE, PENTHOUSE asking $19.5M.
2.) The Beresford 211 CENTRAL PARK WEST, 19B asking $12.95M.
3.) 84 MERCER STREET, 3E asking $8M.
BROOKLYN
In Brooklyn, 136 new listings entered the market last week, down 15% from the previous week.
Meanwhile, 115 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, which was .9% more than the previous week.
Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:
1.) The townhouse at 615 3RD STREET in Park Slope, asking $6.495M.
2.) 413 DEGRAW STREET in South Slope, asking $5.475M.
3.) 9 COLLEGE PLACE, PH5A in Brooklyn Heights, asking $3.995M.
