In Manhattan, 192 new listings entered the market last week, up 111% from the Thanksgiving holiday week.
167 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, down 9% from the previous week.
21 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 15-3, with three townhouses in the mix.
Noteworthy new contracts last week were:
1.) 220 CENTRAL PARK SOUTH, 55B asking $37,500,000.
2.) The townhouse at 114 WAVERLY PLACE asking $22,850,000.
3.) The Brentmoore 88 CENTRAL PARK WEST, 4N/5W asking $20,000,000.
BROOKLYN
In Brooklyn, 124 new listings entered the market last week, up 49% from the Thanksgiving holiday week.
Meanwhile, 144 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, up 45% from the Thanksgiving holiday week.
Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:
1.) The townhouse at 307 HICKS STREET in Brooklyn Heights asking $15,500,000.
2.)The townhouse at 12 COLLEGE PLACE in Brooklyn Heights, asking $9,750,000.
3.) The townhouse at 56 8TH AVENUE in Park Slope asking $5,995,000.
