Weekly Market Update for Manhattan and Brooklyn January 27-February 2, 2025

MANHATTAN

 

In Manhattan, 279 new listings entered the market last week, down 23% from the previous week.

165 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, down 16% from the previous week.

22 Manhattan contracts were signed at $4M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 11-8, with one condop and two townhouses in the mix.

Noteworthy new contracts last week were: 

1.) Central Park Tower 217 WEST 57TH STREET, 91W asking $18,025,000.

2.) 35 HUDSON YARDS, 8901 asking $15,100,000.

3.) 40 EAST END AVENUE, PH15 asking $11,950,000.

 

BROOKLYN

 

In Brooklyn, 176 new listings entered the market last week, down 7.4% from last week.

Meanwhile, 125 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, up 26% from the previous week.

Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:

1.) The townhouse at 535 PACIFIC STREET in Boerum Hill asking $7,495,000.

2.) The townhouse at 579 5TH STREET in Park Slope, asking $4,800,000.

3.) 109 WILLOW STREET, TWO in Brooklyn Heights asking $4,500,000.
