In Manhattan, 121 new listings entered the market last week during the Fourth of July holiday week, down 44% from the previous week.
168 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, down 30% from the previous week.
17 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 9-6, with two townhouses in the mix.
Noteworthy new contracts last week were:
1.) 430 EAST 58TH STREET, PH76, asking $21M.
2.) 184 EAST 75TH STREET, asking $13.95M.
3.) The 23rd Floor at 201 EAST 74TH STREET, asking $12.5M.
BROOKLYN
In Brooklyn, 112 new listings entered the market last week, down 34% from the previous week.
Meanwhile, 102 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, which was 30% fewer than the previous week.
Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:
1.) The multifamily building at 235 Berry Street in Williamsburg, asking $12M.
2.) The townhouse at 11 SOUTH OXFORD STREET in Fort Greene, asking $7.5M.
3.) The townhouse at 127 HICKS STREET in Brooklyn Heights, asking $7.5M.
