In Manhattan, 288 new listings entered the market last week, up 2% from the previous Independence Day week.
206 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, up 17% from the previous week.
18 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 9-8, with one townhouse in the mix.
Noteworthy new contracts last week were:
1.) Armani Residences 760 MADISON AVENUE, PH11, asking $$32.5M.
2.) Central Park Tower 217 WEST 57TH STREET, 65E, asking $$23,433,000.
3.) The Beresford 211 CENTRAL PARK WEST, 16G/17G, asking $17.5M.
BROOKLYN
In Brooklyn, 180 new listings entered the market last week, down 3.7% from the previous week.
Meanwhile, 139 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, which was .7% more than the previous week.
Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:
1.) 1 CLINTON STREET, 33B in Brooklyn Heights, asking $4.995M.
2.) The townhouse at 38 TOMPKINS PLACE in Cobble Hill, asking $4.55M.
3.) The townhouse at 223 GARFIELD PLACE in Park Slope, asking $3.899M.
