In Manhattan, 282 new listings entered the market last week, up 98% from the previous Independence Day week.
175 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, down 17% from the previous week. The annual summer slide has begun.
12 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 10-0, with two townhouses in the mix.
Noteworthy new contracts last week were:
1.) 83 HORATIO STREET, asking $22.95M.
2.) 212 WEST 18TH STREET, PH8, asking $15.995M.
3.) 2150 BROADWAY, PHA, asking $15.5M.
BROOKLYN
In Brooklyn, 185 new listings entered the market last week, up 45% from the previous week.
Meanwhile, 137 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, which was 18% more than the previous week.
Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:
1.) 50 BRIDGE PARK DRIVE, PH1C in Brooklyn Heights, asking $7.995M.
2.) The townhouse at 16 8TH AVENUE in Park Slope, asking $5.5M.
3.) The townhouse at 49 WILLOW PLACE in Brooklyn Heights, asking $4.525M.
