Weekly Market Update for Manhattan and Brooklyn: June 10-June 16, 2024

In Manhattan, 319 new listings entered the market last week, down 9.6% from the previous week.

233 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, up 9.6% from the previous week.

21 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 10-5, with two condops and four townhouses in the mix.

Noteworthy new contracts last week were:

1.) Giorgio Armani Residences 760 Madison Avenue #8, asking $23.5M.

2.) The Beresford 211 Central Park West #14D, asking $14.95M.

3.) The townhouse at 132 West 81st Street, asking $10.999M.




In Brooklyn, 192 new listings entered the market last week, down 19% from the previous week.

Meanwhile, 135 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, which was 11% fewer than the previous week.

Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:

1.) The townhouse at 257 Henry Street in Brooklyn Heights, asking $8.5M

2.) The townhouse at 769 Carroll Street in Park Slope, asking $5.495M

3.) The townhouse at 29 South Elliott Place in Fort Greene, asking $4.7M
