Weekly Market Update for Manhattan and Brooklyn – June 3-June 9, 2024

MANHATTAN

 

In Manhattan, 353 new listings entered the market last week, up 2.3% from the previous week. 

223 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, up 30% from the previous week (Memorial Day week).

16 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 11-4, with one condop in the mix.

Noteworthy new contracts last week were: 

1.) PHA at 36 Bleecker Street, asking $21M.

2.) 640 Park Ave. 3rd Floor, asking $15M.

3.) 200 Central Park South #19DEF, asking $13.5M.

 

BROOKLYN

 

In Brooklyn, 235 new listings entered the market last week, up 7% from the previous week.

Meanwhile, 154 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, which was 52% more than the previous week.

Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:

1.) The townhouse at 19 Montgomery Place in Park Slope, asking $15M

2.) The townhouse at 67 Remsen Street in Brooklyn Heights, asking $6.95M

3.) The townhouse at 411 Sackett Street in Carroll Gardens, asking $5.295M
