In Manhattan, 345 new listings entered the market last week, up 5% from the previous week.
171 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, down 34% from the previous week amid Memorial Day weekend and the lowest volume week since January.
19 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 12-5, with two townhouses in the mix.
Noteworthy new contracts last week were:
1.) Giorgio Armani Residences, 760 Madison Avenue Unit 5 asking $25M.
2.) 50 West 66th Street, 17CD, asking $24.95M.
3.) The townhouse at 52 East 66th Street, asking $24.5M.
BROOKLYN
In Brooklyn, 217 new listings entered the market last week, up 23% from the previous week.
Meanwhile 103 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, which was 34% fewer than the previous week. The spring season in Brooklyn indeed remains very soft relative to recent years past.
Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:
1.) The townhouse at 27 A 2nd Street in Carroll Gardens, asking $4.995M
2.) The multifamily building at 151 Kane Street in Cobble Hill, asking $4.8M
3.) The townhouse at 212 Kane Street in Cobble Hill, asking $4.2M
