Weekly Market Update for Manhattan and Brooklyn – November 13-19, 2023

In Manhattan, 194 new listings entered the market last week, down 30% from the previous week.

189 contracts were signed last week, up 7% from the previous week.

21 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above, twelve more than the previous week. Condos outsold co-ops 14-2, with one condop and four townhouses in the mix.

Noteworthy new contracts last week were #42NS at Snøhetta, 50 West 66th Street, asking $45.75M, #83 at 157 West 57th Street, asking $34M, and #32 at 111 West 57th Street, asking $17.75M.

In Brooklyn, 144 new listings entered the market last week, down 20% from the previous week.

129 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, which was 1% higher than the previous week.

Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were #22B at 30 Front Street in DUMBO, asking $5.4M and the townhouse at 142 Saint Marks Ave in Prospect Heights, asking $4.995M.
