Weekly Market Update for Manhattan and Brooklyn November 18-24, 2024

MANHATTAN

 

In Manhattan, 210 new listings entered the market last week, down 17% from the previous week.

246 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, up 17% from the previous week.

20 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 12-2, with four townhouses in the mix.

Noteworthy new contracts last week were:

1.) The Surrey Residences 20 EAST 76TH STREET, 15A asking $25,745,000.

2.) The townhouse at 22 BANK STREET asking $19,750,000.

3.) 35 HUDSON YARDS, 8601 asking $14,950,000.

 

BROOKLYN

 

In Brooklyn, 125 new listings entered the market last week, down 16% from the previous week.

Meanwhile, 143 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, up 5% from the previous week.

Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:

1.) The townhouse at 17 MONTGOMERY PLACE in Park Slope asking $8,500,000.

2.) 109 WILLOW STREET, 1 in Brooklyn Heights, asking $7,150,000.

3.) The townhouse at 315 WASHINGTON AVENUE in Clinton Hill asking $5,900,000.
