Weekly Market Update for Manhattan and Brooklyn November 4-10, 2024

MANHATTAN

 

In Manhattan, 266 new listings entered the market last week, up 10% from the previous week.

222 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, up 15% from the previous week.

27 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 17-8, with two townhouses in the mix.

Noteworthy new contracts last week were: 

1.) The townhouse at 11 BANK STREET asking $15M.

2.) The townhouse at 37 WEST 70TH STREET asking $13.5M.

3.) 200 AMSTERDAM AVENUE, 39B asking $9.495M.

 

BROOKLYN

 

In Brooklyn, 173 new listings entered the market last week, up 41% from the previous week.

Meanwhile, 154 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, up 13% from the previous week.

Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:

1.) The townhouse at 98 6TH AVENUE in Park Slope asking $7.995M.

2.) The townhouse at 5 MONROE PLACE in Brooklyn Heights, asking $7.995M.

3.) 1 PROSPECT PARK WEST, 3A in Park Slope asking $6.55M
