Weekly Market Update for Manhattan and Brooklyn October 28-November 3, 2024

MANHATTAN

 

In Manhattan, 241 new listings entered the market last week, down 29% from the previous week.

192 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, down 18% from the previous week.

17 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 14-3, with no townhouses in the mix.

Noteworthy new contracts last week were: 

1.) The Surrey Residences 20 EAST 76TH STREET, 14C asking $11M.

2.) 137 DUANE STREET, 3A asking $10.995M.

3.) One High Line 500 WEST 18TH STREET, WEST_12C asking $8.95M.

 

BROOKLYN

 

In Brooklyn, 121 new listings entered the market last week, down 30% from the previous week.

Meanwhile, 136 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, down 14% from the previous week.

Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:

1.) The Huron 29 HURON STREET, PHAW in Greenpoint, asking $6M.

2.) Quay Tower 50 BRIDGE PARK DRIVE, 2A in Cobble Hill, asking $3.995M.

3.) 68 COMMERCIAL STREET, GARDEN in Greenpoint, asking $3.295M
