In Manhattan, 506 new listings entered the market last week, up 277% from the previous week–typical for the week after Labor Day.
137 Manhattan contracts were signed last week, down 8.7% from the previous week.
21 Manhattan contracts were signed at $5M and above. Condos outsold co-ops 13-2, with six townhouses in the mix.
Noteworthy new contracts last week were:
1.) The townhouse at 45 EAST 74TH STREET asking $23.8M.
2.) 140 JANE STREET, 5N asking $23.25M.
3.) 111 WEST 57TH STREET, 27 asking $13M.
BROOKLYN
In Brooklyn, 249 new listings entered the market last week, up 116% from the previous week.
Meanwhile, 97 Brooklyn listings entered contract last week, which was 5.8% fewer than the previous week.
Noteworthy new contracts in Brooklyn were:
1.) The townhouse at 48 WILLOW PLACE in Brooklyn Heights, asking $12M.
2.) The townhouse at 605 2ND STREET in Park Slope, asking $5.15M.
3.) Domino Square 8 SOUTH 4TH STREET, 36B in Williamsburg, asking $4.4M.
